EXCERPT:

TALARICO: "Yeah, I think it’s really good for us all to figure out what condition Ken Paxton may have that’s preventing him from debating. And in all seriousness, you know, the people of Texas deserve a debate between these two candidates before a big election, a critical decision. Fox News has said that Ken Paxton should debate. President Trump has said Ken Paxton should debate. The people of Texas have said Ken Paxton should debate. And so we’re awaiting his answer. He has asked for proof of life from me. I’m asking for proof of spine from him."
