JENNINGS: “Number three, the president is clearly responding to high diesel prices. And that‘s — that‘s a good thing except, you know, we‘re getting in bed with people here that obviously are bad actors and are hard to trust. I understand the impulse. I think at the same time I was doing this, I might be making a simultaneous domestic proposal, which is to reach out to anybody who would listen, Democrats especially, and say, we need more refineries and we need more pipelines because we have to get rid of our foreign reliance here. And that‘s put us in a real bind. So there‘s a — there‘s a lot of things going on, but when it comes to the Russians, if I were the president, I wouldn't trust them any far than I can throw them."
