Gov. Josh Shapiro: ‘Our Farmers Are Paying Six Dollars 50 Cents a Gallon for Diesel’ as He Blames the Iran War for Higher Costs

RUSH EXCERPT:

SHAPIRO: "The governor’s office. But I also know — I also know you are here because you are tired and you are angry and you are frustrated by the chaos and the cruelty and the corruption that we are seeing every day from this administration in Washington. The chaos that has led to higher prices because he doesn’t understand that when you slap a tariff on a foreign country it means higher prices for us at the grocery store. It means that ground beef is up 50% because of his incompetence. Chaos, the kind of chaos that took us into a war in Iran that we had no business going into. And a war that he has no earthly idea how to get out of. The kind of chaos that has left 21 dinner tables across America with an empty seat because those brave soldiers didn’t make it home. The kind of chaos that led us into a war that means our farmers are paying six dollars 50 cents a gallon for diesel and you at the wawa down the street are paying four dollars $.60 for gas.”
