Rep. Duyne on Gas Prices Amid the Iran War: ‘It’s a Short-Term Pain’ for Really a Long-Term Fix, 47 Years in the Making
RUSH EXCERPT:
DUYNE: "Again that is tough. What we were able to achieve in Venezuela in such a short period of time will be transformational. All of that crude coming through Texas refineries will decrease has had an effect in decreasing costs for unleaded but on diesel there’s a lot of their trucks would rely on that. When you order product to be paying more. But, what we are doing is a short-term pain for really a long-term fix. It’s 47 years and the making. Every single present has talked about the risk in the terrorist attacks by the Iranian regime on American people but we have got to stop that. We have to prevent them from ever having a nuclear weapon. But you are right but we need to get this open what you have seen is a very dedicated effort to very focused effort from this administration on making sure that has happened they have achieved a wondrous things. We need to stick with that and make sure we did not did the self or not. We will have again transformational, generational change on the ability of Iran to be able to terrorize the rest of the world. I hate to say that short-term. We are experiencing it but there are other things that going into that decreasing cost. It’s on necessary all by this administration work with the Republican Congress."
