DeSANTIS: "As you begin going outside if you’re in this affected region you start assessing damage you want to start cleaning up just please be cautious of your surrounding areas There could be downed power lines those are hazardous There could be floodwaters stay out of those Certainly don’t try to drive if there’s high standing water those do represent hazards On all these storms you know you will have impacts directly from the storm on people’s lives and safety and there tends to be injuries and unfortunately deaths in the days after so it’s still a very hazardous situation All the assets are there to get the power back on make sure all the roads are are clean and safe and that’s being done but just please continue to exercise caution in the next couple of days"
