EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin: ‘We Have Finalized over $1.6 Trillion of Deregulation’

ZELDIN: "Now, this is the amount that has been finalized, it’s not even a proposal. We have finalized over $1.6 trillion of deregulation within our agency working within the administration, with national energy dominance council, obviously, President Trump himself, Russ Vought and his team in the office of management and budget. $1.6 trillion, done. You can go back and look at past presidency and add up the number for every agency combined, and you’re not going the come up with numbers like that. The reason why we have had it is because between the Obama and Biden administrations, they were imposing regulations to strangle reliable, durable, base load power out of existence. We’re just following the law. And following the law is upsetting maybe some people in Congress or elsewhere.”
