Jim VandeHei: ‘The American People Have Now Been Very Clear What They Want’ on Immigration, the Economy and Trump’s Policies

RUSH EXCERPT:

VANDEHEI: "Yeah. As you were mentioning, for people who you can dismiss a poll here or there, 30% is almost impossible to achieve just because you have locked in hardcore partizans. So it just shows that even Republicans, not a bunch of them, but certainly non self-identified MAGA Republicans are turning against him. You’ve seen this in state after state. Part of it’s linked to what you were talking about at the top of the show. I think the American people have now been very clear what they want. Right. Like on immigration, they want to lock down the borders, but they also want to treat people humanely.”
