Brett McGurk on Iran War: ‘This Is Going to Continue ... Through the End of Trump’s Presidency and Into the Next’

RUSH EXCERPT:

MCGURK: "The Iran this, this kind of this hot, hot again, cold again economic pressure. I don’t see an end game here. I don’t see President Trump just totally backing out. And the Iranian regime will hold on. Even though they’re under massive economic pressure. They’re willing to use ruthless force against their own people. And so I just it’s hard to see how we wind your way out of this. Now, on the other side, we were building up economic cards with Iranians, and maybe you can find your way to a diplomatic deal, particularly on the nuclear file. That will be the play over the next year.”
