Barack Obama Endorses Gov. Josh Shapiro: As AG, Josh Protected Our Democracy

TRANSCRIPT:

OBAMA: "I have known Josh Shapiro a long time. He’s a friend and was one of my earliest supporters. Today, it’s more important than ever we elect leaders with the decency and integrity and willingness to fight back. We need leaders like Josh Shapiro. As attorney general, Josh protected our democracy, our voting rights, and the rule of law. As governor, he has stood up to the chaos, cruelty, and corruption coming out of Washington. And he’s gotten stuff done for the people of Pennsylvania, like delivering free school breakfast, safeguarding healthcare, cutting taxes, and protecting our freedoms. Pennsylvania, Governor Shapiro has your back, and in this election I am asking you to have his."
