MS NOW’s Alexander Pushes Back on Sen. Tillis Calling Him a Democrat: ‘I’m an Advocate for the Facts’

TILLIS: “I could go to some of your folks with the manifestos that are being created by the Democratic Socialists of America.”
ALEXANDER: “To be clear, they're not my folks, obviously.”
TILLIS: “Well, a Democrat. But what I'm saying is I think the time is right to hold these people accountable at either end of the political spectrum. I will never take a dime to do that. That is going to be my legacy project, and I hope we catch a lot of people flat-footed, because that's going to help these institutions in this great city.”
ALEXANDER: “Well, we're having this conversation because I'm not a Republican or a Democrat. I'm an advocate for the facts, and that's why we wanted to press you on all of them.”
