Chris Christie Is ‘Analogizing’ Himself to Ronald Reagan Who Ran for President Three Times

EXCERPT:

CHRISTIE: “Look, I — I was in New Hampshire two weeks ago to give a speech on, like, sports gambling, and I said there, I look at it and I’m gonna look at it. But there's gonna have to be a number of things that have to happen."
MODERATOR: "So it'd be a third time?"
CHRISTIE: "True, just like Reagan. He got elected on the third time, as you know. Keep that in mind."
MODERATOR: "You're analogizing yourself to Reagan then?"

CHRISTIE: "Yeah. Yeah, I am, actually. I am. And I'll call Patty and tell her that, too. But I’ll look at it.
