Randy Villegas Says We Need to ‘Feed the Rest of the World’ with USAID, then Says He Will Fight to Keep Tax Dollars at Home

VILLEGAS: "What we need is to make sure that we have a foreign policy that actually reflects Americans values, that makes sure that we’re investing in our farmers here at home, and that also means not decimating things like USAID, which we don’t only feed the rest of the country here in the Central Valley, we feed the rest of the world. And for the first time in about 70 years, we became a net importer, as opposed to exporter, of food, and that is because of these reckless tariffs that Valadao has supported nine times, which is leading families up $5,000 a year. It’s ridiculous. It has to stop. And I’ll fight to keep our tax dollars right here at home in the Central Valley to build the futures that we deserve."
