Sen. Rick Scott: Socialism Sounds Good, Unfortunately It Takes Away All Your Freedom

SCOTT: "Well, first off, you know, he’s not saying the truth. The guy is a socialist, he campaigns with Hasan Piker who wants every capitalist in the country murdered. I mean, he is lying. But guess what? Socialism sounds good. Unfortunately, it takes away all your freedom. If government is going to make all the decisions, if they are gonna pay for everything, if they're gonna pay for your health care, your food, your housing, guess who will make all the decisions? Government. Not you. They'll decide, 'Oh, this is a job you will have. This is what you get to make, this is what food you get.' If socialism like these guys want is so successful, why don’t they just move to Havana, an unbelievably beautiful metropolis that has no electricity, no food, no jobs. So here's what Republicans ought to do. We ought to tell them what we are going to do. I mean, reduce the size of government, get the hell out of people’s lives, reduce their taxes, get them a better job. That’s what we’ve got to do."
