Brandon Gill: Gas Prices Will Go Down If Our Domestic Energy Production Thrives

‘What we want to do is implement policies like permitting reform and we did that in the big beautiful bill’

TRANSCRIPT:

GILL: "As a matter of policy, Democrats want to hamstring domestic energy production. They killed or tried to kill the Keystone XL pipeline. They have been running James Talarico, who's talked about how we are moving away from fossil fuels. What we want to do as Republicans is we want to implement policies like the permitting reform, we did some of that in the Big Beautiful Bill, there’s more that we can do now, and we would like to see America’s domestic energy production thrive. That will allow us to keep gas prices down long-term, regardless of what the geopolitical system looks like. But that is if we can get Republicans in control and to maintain control of the House and the Senate and the presidency so that we can get those reforms passed."
