NYT’s Cottle Says You Could Hear Republicans ‘Freaking out’ as Trump Announced National Campaign at the Dallas Convention

EXCERPT:

COTTLE: "He rejects the idea that this is a problem. Or he's actually tweaking them. I went to the — you know, the midterm convention in Dallas, and during his speech, he's like, 'You know, they tell me I shouldn't do this or that, but I'm going to go out there and I'm going to go to every single battleground tough race there is, Senate or House. I'm going to hit every one of them.' And you could just hear from across the country, Republicans freaking out when they hear that. But he is determined to insert himself as much as possible and remind the party that it is still his."
