Tom Dupree: SCUTOS Will Probably Side with the Exercise of Religious Liberty over the Bureaucracy in Daniel Grand v. City of University Heights Case
‘This is a bit of a wild case’
RUSH EXCERPT:
DUPREE: “This is a bit of a wild case but what the Supreme Court is going to decide as to whether, when the city comes and it says you cannot do prayer service in your house but whether you as a person willing to host the prayer service has to play out the whole zoning and permitting process to the bitter end or whether you need a court to come in maybe a little sooner recognize and validate and affirm your rights to free exercise of religion. I think this is a great case. My guess is that Supreme Court is probably going to be inclined to side with the exercise of religious liberty over the bureaucracy.”
