NIXON: “So a lot of people across the state know me. They know me because Ashley Moody won‘t even return phone calls or emails to her offices. And so guess what? Those people actually wind up reaching out to my office and we help connect them to the resources that they need with these different agencies, as well as these different departments. And let me be clear, because Ashley Moody is saying a lot of things and spreading a lot of lies and disinformation about me. Of course, I do not want to defund the police or abolish prisons because I want Ashley Moody locked up.”
