Sen. John Thune: ‘We Are Well-Positioned’ Heading Into the Midterm Election Despite Senate Gridlock

RUSH EXCERPT:

THUNE: "They don’t want to give Republicans or the present of victory is close to the election but it’s been this way all along. You go right down the list of the authorization bill for consideration on the floor FISA foreign intelligence security act blocked on the field of foreign bill blocks on the floor. More recently give examples like permitting reform and the protection act which came on the house for 17-during the SAVE Act we voted on that seven times. It’s been really challenging obviously but despite that we have gotten a lot of good things done for the country and we are well-positioned as they come out of this midterm election on the issue one of them as gas prices not something that people see.”
