Doug Jones: ‘I Can Tell You They Are Not Fine With It’ as Alabama Voters Face Rising Gas Prices
‘It’s not just the gasoline because in Alabama, we don’t have enough public transportation’
RUSH EXCERPT:
JONES: "Nobody’s nobody’s buying that, Jen. Nobody from across the board. I mean, you know, tuberville said on the in the Senate the other day, not on the floor. He had other weird speeches on the floor. But he did say afterwards that people in Alabama are fine with gas prices. They voted for Donald Trump, so they’re going to be fine with it. I can tell you they are not fine with it. We’ve gotten and it’s not just the gasoline because in Alabama, we don’t have enough public transportation. People have to fill up their cars to get their kids to the schools to get to their jobs. That’s what we travel around in. In Alabama, farmers are getting absolutely killed on diesel fuels here on the Gulf Coast.”
