JONES: "Well, I think people are making fun of the fact that you got tuberville and all of the Alabama delegation down there now taking credit for this bridge when they didn’t vote for it. But that’s par for the course. They’re taking credit for other road projects, interstate projects around Alabama. But I think that people now see that this was all about Donald Trump’s vanity had nothing to do with the campaign. Everybody thought, well, this is just, you know, he’s coming in here to try to shore up Tommy Tuberville. Look, tuberville is in real trouble. And I know folks around the country are thinking, oh, it’s Alabama, yada yada.”
