Buttigieg: Trump’s Low Approval Numbers Can ‘Reunite Some of These Congressional Republicans with Their Own Conscience’

RUSH EXCERPT:

BUTTIGIEG: "Well, the in Washington, part of that is the part that I’D worry about the most. Now, to be fair, I’m not in Washington very much these days, but I would say the best thing we can do about the attitude and conduct of the congressional GOP in Washington is to change who’s going to Washington. Look, right now, President Trump’s approval, by some measures, is down into the 20s. That is the kind of thing that can reunite some of these congressional Republicans with their own conscience. So is a big win for Democrats, as I believe is going to happen in a few weeks. If we all work hard and keep pushing to make that happen, then you get an environment where I think if we are very focused and disciplined, we can keep the focus on the things that most Americans want.”
