Senate Candidate Sherrod Brown on Cryptocurrency PAC Opposing His Candidacy: ‘There Are a Lot More of Us than There Are of Them’

BROWN: “Once they’re built, your electric rates are going up. So, electric rates go up. You have no say on it. And you — we give them tax breaks. Jon Husted was the leader on that. And he — I mean, that’s sort of who he is. So, as I’ve been running ads and taking on these data centers, of course the data centers and crypto crowd, the billionaires in Washington, that’s why they dropped $30 million in this race. But, you know what, there are a lot more of us than there are them. (applause) We know what they’re up to. We know that it doesn’t matter, when it comes to data centers, it doesn’t matter your political party. People that are Republicans and near Bowling Green or near anywhere. I mean, near Delta or near Swanton or near Montpelier, or Pioneer, any community, particularly the small towns, people are really upset, as they should be, because their lives are up and then they didn’t ask for it.”
