Abdul El-Sayed: ‘Meek Rogers’ Cannot Respond to Any of Trump’s ‘Ridiculous’ Policies
EXCERPT:
EL-SAYED: “Strength is about being being able to stand up to the problem. The problem is Donald Trump, and you don’t see much standing up to Donald Trump. Strength is not about punching down. Strength is about being willing to step up and fight on the issues that matter. Across my state, across this country, people can’t afford their gas. That’s because of Donald Trump. People can’t afford their groceries. That’s because of Donald Trump. People can’t see a doctor. That’s also because of Donald Trump. And these folks want to parade around like they’re some kind of strong, but they are so meek and so weak. Mike Rogers, 'Meek' Rogers, you know, doesn’t really want to say anything in response to Donald Trump’s ridiculous policies that the 10 million people in this state whose votes he’s asking for are suffering under. So, look, you know, I just think it’s important for us to point out the clear hypocrisy about the way they present themselves and then the way they actually behave when it comes to the problems that Michiganders are facing."
