Scott Jennings: ‘People Are Horrified by the Incompetence’ of Tennessee’s Botched Death Penalty Execution

RUSH EXCERPT:

JENNINGS: “Lethal injection was the worst number on there from a botched perspective. Yeah. I mean, look, the law in Tennessee is they have the death penalty. And this this is a level of incompetence that I think. I mean, people are looking at this and saying, well, I mean, we can‘t even do this thing, which, you know, humans have been somehow doing for millennia. Mhm. So I think, I think people are sort of horrified by the incompetence in the situation. It‘s put the state of Tennessee in. I do think the lethal injection question the drug. And, you know, whether it I mean, did they not know that there was a strong possibility it might not work? There‘s obviously.”
