Trump in Texas: They Destroyed American Manufacturing and They Destroyed Your Way of Life, But Not Anymore

EXCERPT:

TRUMP: “Every other president for decades let other nations flood our markets with shoddy and subsidized foreign goods, and even if it was reasonably good goods, they destroyed American manufacturing and they destroyed your way of life. And you were suffering through it. I guess you did suffer through it for a period of time, Preston, until I came along. But upon taking office, I immediately placed my favorite word, actually my fifth favorite, you know that story. I don’t want to bore you with it, but I said the word tariff is my favorite word. And the fake news, they went, they went crazy.”
