Ret. Col. Gary Langston Slams Sec. Hegseth’s Remarks: ‘Being Diverse Is Not Being Woke’

EXCERPT:

LANGSTON: “I would just say he also said diversity is not our strength, unity is our strength. Well, that is first of all, a false choice. Secondly — secondly, that is eliminating a significant percentage of the population of Americans who have served and would like to serve. So I was in for 29 years, starting in 1983, so I lived through ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.’ I lived through lots — lots of — lot — lots of — lots of changes. I’m sorry, being diverse is not being woke.”
