We can’t allow that to fall into China’s hands, especially because South Korea, which makes the other 8%, is moving very fast into China’s orbit. I mean, we could end up with 0% of the world’s best semis. Now, the other thing, though, is that Taiwan is a test of American credibility and resolve, and not just in the region around the world. So there are so many different reasons why we need to stand fast in Taiwan. And I think President Trump understands that. So I’m not worried about Xi Jinping trying to change his mind. Xi Jinping has been trying to change Trump’s mind on Taiwan for a very long time,”
