Rep. Brandon Gill on 43% of Americans’ Positive View of Socialism: Your Economic Situation Does Feel Worse Because of ‘Left-Wing Policies’

GILL: "Well, I think that first of all, whenever you have some of these issues that young people are facing, they need to realize, and we need to get the message out very clearly, that your economic situation does feel worse in many areas, and again, this has happened for quite some time. This isn’t recent. Because of left-wing policies. Because of the very policies that Hasan Piker proposes. For instance, opening up our borders to millions of illegal aliens who are flooding into our country and suppressing American wages, taking American jobs, and transforming American communities, such that young people look at the country and say, this incident is the same country. Culturally or otherwise that my parents grew up in. Those are the kinds of things that I think Republicans need to be focused on because we have real solutions. Democrats are selling a hatred of America. We are trying to show young people and the rest of the country that we can make this country better, that we’ve got the ability to do that, and I think that’s a message that we need to make sure that we’re hitting young people with. That the left is trying to sell all kindser of free things put us in this position in the first place."
