Rep. Dean on Sen. Fetterman Appearing at GOP Midterm Convention: ‘I Was Very Disappointed that John Participated in That Farcical Circus’

DEAN: "Well, I have to tell you, and I think I’ve talked to you about this before, in 2018, before I had the chance to run for Congress, I ran against John for lieutenant governor. It was a very crowded Democratic primary, a lousy winter. We traveled all over the state together. And I got to know and like him and like his small D democratic values, his fight for the common person, for the common good, for those who are vulnerable or marginalized. Sadly, what we see now is John focused on other things, a not focused on doing the work, showing up. I think he should be caucusing with Democrats. He should be trying. Trying to solve problems with Democrats. But very disappointing to me are his votes votes in support of this president’s corrupt behavior. Votes in support of his terrible secretary, picks votes in support of him alone, choosing to take us to this deadly quagmire of a war in Iran. So I was very disappointed that John participated in that farcical circus. And I have to tell you, my constituents are livid, and they have been."
