Scarborough Praises Guiliani for Playing Vital Role After 9/11
EXCERPT:
SCARBOROUGH: "And I will say, too, for younger Americans that do not remember that time and only know the Rudy Giuliani of 2024 and beyond, Rudy Giuliani filled a vital, vital gap, played a vital role in those first few days. I will tell you, I will say it, George W. Bush did not find his voice as America’s leader until he got on that pile of scrap and said, 'We’re hearing you, and the whole world is hearing you, and they will hear you soon.' But in between that day and the moments after 9/11, Rudy Giuliani was there. he was an authoritative force in the most positive way. He took control of the situation. He was even, you know, TIME Magazine. of course, liberals didn’t like it, TIME Magazine called him America’s mayor, weren’t happy about that. But Giuliani did an incredible job. Hillary Clinton, of course, did. George Pataki, the leaders of New York all did really good job in stepping forward. And Giuliani went to all of those funerals."
