Rep. Lawler on GOP Convention: I’ll Be Joined Tonight by the Gorman Family, Whose Daughter Was Murdered by an Illegal Alien

LAWLER: “So, I‘m going to speak about that tonight, as well as to introduce two of my constituents, Jess and Tom Gorman, who tragically lost their daughter earlier this year, 18-year-old Sheridan Gorman was brutally murdered by an illegal criminal alien who should not have been in this country. But because of Chicago‘s disastrous cashless bail and sanctuary city laws, she was murdered. And they‘re going to share their story. And so, to me, I know who I‘m fighting for. I‘m fighting for my constituents, my district, and I‘m proud to stand on stage with the Gorman family tonight and let them share their story, their daughter‘s story, with the rest of the country. It’s a story that should be heard. And so, I’m proud to be here.”
