HINOJOSA: “Most things out of Abbott's mouth are the opposite of what he actually does. He has not actually changed anything when it comes to these data centers. He has issued a temporary pause that most of us understand will go away November 4th, the day after the election. In order to make real changes to protect Texans against data centers we have to pass laws. That's the way this works. He knows it. He refuses to call an emergency special session to pass those laws to protect Texans from the hyperscale impact they're having on us, to protect Texans from the data centers.”
