Toure: John Fetterman Has Been ‘Sort of a Traitor to the Democratic Party for a Very Long Time’
EXCERPT:
PHILLIP: “He did say in a statement — I‘ll just read the important part — I‘m a lifelong Democrat who votes overwhelmingly with my party. And should the Senate flip in November, I will still be the 51st vote that I ran on.' Do you believe it, Touré?"
TOURÉ: "No. I mean, no, I don‘t -- he has been sort of a traitor to the Democratic Party for a very long time. So, I mean, like, this totally makes sense. I mean, I‘m not even sure why does he not just become a Republican?"
NAVARRO: "I don‘t — be careful what you say, because you just might get it. And if it‘s a 50/50 Senate, you don‘t want that."
TOURÉ: "Of course I don‘t want that, but — "
PHILLIP: "I mean, I feel like Democrats love to hate Fetterman, but you will want him if you have the Senate — "
TOURÉ: "No, of course you want that, but I just don‘t understand. He has not really been part of the Democratic Party.”
