FBN’s Varney to Mamdani: If You Can’t Divorce Yourself from Hasan Piker, You Really Shouldn’t Be at the 9/11 Memorial at All

‘If you can’t publicly acknowledge precisely who did it, you can expect a lot of hostility at a memorial service for those who died’

TRANSCRIPT:

VARNEY: “Let me say this. Mamdani has every right to be there. He is the mayor. He runs the government here. So he has a good official reason to be there. And he says he is going. The problem is not just him being there, but that he hasn't condemned the Islamic terrorists who killed nearly 3,000 Americans 25 years ago. If you can't publicly acknowledge precisely who did it, you can expect a lot of hostility at a memorial service for those who died. And if you can't divorce yourself from Hasan Piker, who said America deserved 9/11, you really should not be there at all. A little honesty, Your Honor, it would go a long way.”
