Jim Jordan: If Dems Take Over the House, They Will Weaponize Every Committee

CRUZ: “It won’t just be the Oversight Committee, Stuart. It’ll be every committee. And I think their point person is going to be my counterpart on the Judiciary Committee, Ranking Member Raskin. I think he will be sort of the guy who is the point person for Democrats if they win, which I don’t think they’re going to. And they will go after the president. They say they’re not going to impeach him a third time. They will. They can’t help themselves. They’ll go after everyone in the cabinet. They’ll go after the first family. They’ll go after people in the private sector. It’s not just over. We’re supposed to do oversight according to the Constitution. But they won’t be doing oversight. They will be weaponizing the legislative Branch to go after their political opposition. And I think that includes, I think they’re really focusing on who they believe will be our nominee in ‘28. So they’ll spend all of ‘27 and ‘28 going after Vice President Banz, Secretary Rubio, Governor Youngkin, whoever else may be, you know, may be our nominee.”
