Mike Johnson on Midterms: ‘I Believe We’re Going to Defy History and Grow the House Majority in the House’

JOHNSON: “The Cook Political Report is kind of a gold standard. I mean, people on both sides cite it all the time. This is where they have it today when Fox says this one out. Cook says, on election night, you can expect 209 Republican likely victories, 205 Democrat, and they have 21 seats in the middle. And the good news is, we’ve known what those seats are for over a year and a half and we’ve been putting lead on target. We have far superior candidates. They have a stronger message, a great record to run on, fundraising advantage. I really like our chances in these seats. I believe we’re going to defy history and grow the House majority in the House.”
