BENSON: “Yes, yes. Those are the types of specific guardrails that I would put in place. And I think, look, in the — I get a lot of questions on the trail about technology and AI. And I consistently say we need to allow technology to grow and enhance our lives, but not at the expense of our privacy. And it’s one of the reasons why Michigan, under my leadership, became one of the first states in the nation to put guardrails in place around the use of AI in elections and election communication. We’re already seeing how that’s impacting our elections and democracy as well.
