CHALIAN: "Exactly. And here‘s the reality. The president could say anything he wants on this topic. Voters live and experience what the economy is every day in their lives. So, it doesn‘t -- it actually is more noise than anything else, because people are going to vote on what they‘re experiencing in their pocketbooks. I would do another. I would look at another poll number also about this that I think is particularly troublesome for the talking points about like, 'Hey, I inherited this all from Biden.' In our most recent poll, two thirds of Americans think that Donald Trump‘s policies have made their economic conditions worse. That connection, that it‘s not just, 'Oh, I feel pessimistic about the economy,' but it‘s his policies that are causing the economy worse, that is a weight around Republicans this fall."
