Jamie Raskin on If Dems Are Too Divided: No, We’re Too Big for the Republicans to Defeat

‘Which is why they are trying to divide us with that rhetoric’

RUSH EXCERPT:
RASKIN: "No, think we are too big for the Republicans to defeat which is why they are trying to divide us with that rhetoric. I was with cali Barr in Michigan the upper peninsula and a very rural area. People are talking about there the fact that Trump’s billion dollars cut to Medicaid is forcing rural hospitals to cut back on services. They talk about how there are three different ob/gyn birth delivery clinics that had to close there. I was with the fourth district, we have a great candidate there, too, called Sean mccann. And again people are concerned about corruption. They are concerned about the Iran war and the fact that gasoline prices and diesel prices are through the roof. Inflation is killing people there. There is a Canadian boycott of America because of all of Donald Trump’s high-handed contemptuous snotty treatment of the Canadians. I think, you know, a big plurality of Canadians say America is their enemy. This is the stuff people are talking about in the rural areas of Michigan and upstate New York I was with a candidate and the people want to see change the Republicans are going to be blindsided because there is a huge political reaction in the rural areas against what Donald Trump has been doing."
