Stephen Moore on the Jobs Report: ‘I’m Ecstatic,’ Construction and Manufacturing, We’re Building Things Again!

MOORE: “Yeah, sorry, I was just — I’m just looking at the numbers myself that just came across the internet. So, yeah, and it’s blue-collar jobs, construction, manufacturing, we’re building things again in America. This is a reversal of the last three months, which were pretty poor reports. So, I’m ecstatic about this. I love that — now, I know, you know, people say, oh, the stock market is going to fall because we created more jobs. No. A good, solid economy with a lot of jobs is good for everyone, good for investors, good for businesses, good for workers. And the fact that now you’re seeing more jobs created is an indication that employers are going to have to start, you know, paying more. Now, I haven’t seen that wage number yet, Cheryl, but I anticipate it’s going to be a pretty good number.”
