As Jews for Abdul profess support for Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed, some members have concerns about how his anti-Israel rhetoric will play out in November.

During an organizing meeting in mid-August, co-founder Steve Gold outlined how the former Wayne County health official’s comments and anti-Israel positions are causing problems for Jewish Democrats and his bid to become the first Muslim senator in U.S. history.
