Mike Lawler: We Cannot Allow Domestic Policies Alone to Dictate What We Do in Iran
EXCERPT:
LAWLER: “We all want gas prices — we all want gas prices to come down. There’s no question about that. It’s part of the reason why, when you see what happened with Venezuela over the weekend, what the deal that was negotiated there will do is put the U.S. in control of about 50 percent of the oil reserves around the globe and commercial oil trade, which is critical moving forward as we ensure that gas prices in this country and around the globe come down. But ensuring stability in the Middle East and around the globe is critical. You know, China and Russia are meeting. China, Russia, and Iran are an axis of evil. They seek to undermine and destabilize the U.S. and the free world. We cannot allow domestic politics alone to dictate what we do to ensure stability around the globe.”
