MCCARTHY: “Exactly. Very good point. You know, socialism has failed any place it’s ever been tried. And the Democrats try to say they’re not a socialist wing. They just prove more than 90 percent of the current elected members of the Democratic Party support socialism. This is really going to become part of the campaign. The Democrats have a real problem. They’ve got history on their side that they have the best opportunity to try to win the majority, and they just made a fatal mistake yesterday on how they handled this and it really goes to the leadership. Is the Democrat leadership even prepared to be in the majority? Because they made a fundamental mistake by not anticipating what position they put their members in and now they want to punish them. So, it just shows socialism will punish you if you don’t vote the way they want, and that’s what they want to have the majority on? That’s what I’D run against them with.”
