Colorado Secy. Of State: ‘The Postmaster General Shouldn’t Be the Person Deciding Who Gets a Ballot’

GRISWOLD: "Well, they have been enjoined recently from working on executing Trump‘s executive order. So I would be curious when they were doing all this work and if it was during the period when they shouldn‘t have been working on it. But frankly, we do not quite know what is going on, and that is worrisome in itself. We are 63 days away from Election Day. Ballots for overseas and military voters literally goes — they go out in three and a half weeks. And to have this type of uncertainty before such a major election is unacceptable. Election plans, the decisions, they have already been made. So, again, I think it should be obvious to most people that the postmaster general shouldn‘t be the person deciding who gets a mail ballot. It‘s not his job. Trump is trying to exercise power he does not have. And I just think it‘s so important that we stay in the fight and remind your viewers, this is not their first attempt to interfere with the '26 election, seize authority, exercise authority that they don‘t have. We are beating them all along the way, and I‘m optimistic we‘re going to win this battle also."
