Maggie Haberman: Republican Gerrymandered Seats Could Flip Blue — Even in Texas

‘These are all complicating factors’

EXCERPT:

HABERMAN: “The other piece too, Kaitlan, that I don‘t think has gotten that much attention on this front, and I will say this quickly, they did net this, you know, gamble with creating new House seats through this redistricting arms race that the White House started. Yes, they have a net, you know, number of increase in Republican seats. They‘ve also created a bunch of mash-up seats that if it is a bad night, if it is a wave night against Republicans, some seats that should be safe might not be. So these are all complicating factors.”
COLLINS: “Including in Texas, where it all started.”
HABERMAN: “Correct.”
