CNN’s Kasie Hunt to Rahm Emanuel: ‘Do You Think that Jewish Americans Are Starting to Feel Not at Home in the Democratic Party?’

Emanuel: ‘It‘s not about in the Democratic Party’

EXCERPT:

EMANUEL: “You have Colorado. You have here in D.C. at the embassy. How many more examples would you like me to give across the board? So, it‘s not a party problem. This is a problem where you have 75 percent, according to the FBI, all religious-based violence is based to two percent of the population. And if you — if you segregate it as somehow this is a political or partisan, you‘re actually allowing it a pass. It should be dealt with. And I will then say one thing. In the district I ran in as a mayor, Jews are — Jewish community is only two percent. People will judge you on your character and your faith. My faith is not your problem. The fact that Americans have lost faith in America, that’s our problem. That’s what we should work on.”
