Dem Rep. Amo: ‘I Don’t Think We’re Any Closer to a Resolution’ of the Conflict with Iran
‘The fact of the matter is, the American people are feeling the pain of these decisions’
EXCERPT:
AMO (via Webex by Cisco): “Well, I don't think we're any closer to a resolution and that highlights the challenge with President Trump's pursuit of a war of choice with no end in sight and no commitment to a diplomatic resolution that is necessary. The fact of the matter is the American people are feeling the pain of these decisions. The cost of gasoline, the cost of food and fertilizer, the cost that the American people are facing has not been addressed by this president and his commitment to pursuing this war and never having an out but having many inflection points that certainly have not been materialized, whether it's an economic D-Day or continued false timelines.”
