Debbie Dingell: People Are Trying to Divide Us over Hasan Piker — He’s Being Used to Not Talk About Issues
‘I’m still trying to understand why he has so many followers’
EXCERPT:
DINGELL: "I don't understand it. You know, I got in trouble because I said he works out and maybe he's buff. I don't get it. But I do think people are using it to not talk about the issues that matter. (...) We need to get this behind us. I want to talk about the issues. I have nothing to do with Hasan Piker. That’s why I was like, done. I had spent a solid 10 days of being tracked, mics thrown in my face. There are a lot of issues that I care about, and I've got a lot of local problems I’m working on."
