HEINRICHS: "And if you remember the beginning of the war, there was early reporting that the Israelis were cooperating with the Iranian people who were giving targeting information about the Basij. The Basij is the branch of the IRGC the reppresses the Iranian people, and the Iranian people were cooperating with the Israelis to let them know who to take out, where they were. So they are clearly people inside the country that do want to overthrow the regime, but they are not armed. And remember, any time you are going to have any kind of conflict end with any sort of negotiation or diplomacy, it only happens once the other side knows it's lost.”
