ELROD: "Regardless of your political party, you should always condemn antisemitism. That is campaigning 101, being a human 101, what you should do. But I think he’s got a challenge here. Because he did tack so far to the left during the primary. Now he has to win a very, very close seat. We must remember that Mike Rogers, in a favorable cycle in 2024, for a lot of Republicans, but he only lost Michigan by half a point. He’s on the ballot again. He’s seen by a lot of swing voters as somebody who they could actually work with. They see as somebody who’s more middle of the road, even though he has advanced a lot of policies, they can support. So I understand what al sayyed is trying to do. I also, you know, give credit to Democrats for backing him and saying, look, just like Mr. Clyburn did, he is our guy. He’s going to have to strongly condemn some of these comments, even more so if he’s going to want to win this seat."
